The Bungalow, Guru Kripa is located on the top of a hill in a secured
society of just 16 luxury Bungalows. The locale base has great views of the
backwaters of the Dhom Dam, the Krishna River Valley and the Kamal Gadh
forest.
Built with red Goa bricks, the house has a majestic facade and a roof of red
shingles. It is set in a garden of 15000 sq.ft., with a built up area of
3000 sq. ft. There are 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, living room dining area,
kitchen with a servant’s room, a store room, a 1200 sq. ft. terrace and a
gazebo sit out. Apart from this, there is a separate servants’ quarters that
can accommodate at least 4 persons. |

Accommodation
Bedrooms
The rooms are furnished in light colours of red, yellow, pink and orange,
with antique/ colonial furniture. The bathrooms are modern and tastefully
done. The shower area of the master bedroom has a 180° view of the trees and
forest line.
Living Rooms
Period furniture graces the living room that opens out into the verandah and
garden. The double height gives space light, making it
a cheerful area.
Verandah
White wrought iron chairs and tables adorn the verandah overlooking the
lawn.
Garden
Dotted with 30-40 trees like eucalyptus, fig and jamun, the garden is a
splendid place to spend time in the outdoors. A 300 sq. ft. gazebo is ideal
for a mid-day lunch or an evening barbecue.
Kitchen
Done in colourful yellow and white tiles, the kitchen is a chefs delight. A
small servants room and bathroom is attached to this space.
Terrace
A 1200 sq. ft. space to party! Done in olive green and rust tiles, it has a
commanding view of the valley and forest line. |
